Home Owner Tips for September

Working From Home

Last March many of us “temporarily” moved our offices into our homes.  For a lot of us, we are still working from home and for some of us this move is a permanent one.  If your work space isn’t working for you, consider carving out part of your home as a permanent office.
 Things to consider are:
  • Location – you need enough room and privacy to work without distractions
  • Invest in Quality Furniture and Shelving – make sure the furniture works for what you need it to do, but remember this is also a room in your home and it should fit in with the other rooms in your home.
  • Windows and Paint – you will be spending a lot of time in this room so make sure you have windows, lots of light, and paint it a color you love
If you need help renovating your home to work for you, ResCom Custom Builders can help.
